The MTQ Licensed User Training is essential for those who wish to utilise the MTQ suite of measures (MTQ4Cs, MTQ48 and MTQPlus). This comprehensive programme provides accreditation as a licensed practitioner, qualifying you to use the MTQ measures and apply their
insights effectively.

The programme includes an MTQPlus assessment for the participant, plus two practice measures andthe optional inclusion of the Developing Mental Toughness Book.
Programme Structure
Stage 1: Asynchronous Learning (Modules 1–14)
- Delivery: Online, self-paced
- Format: Pre-recorded videos and quizzes
- Total learning time: 9 hours
Participants complete Modules 1–14 independently, engaging with core concepts and knowledge checks before progressing to practical exercises.
Stage 2: Practical Application and Reflection
After completing Modules 1–14, participants will:
- Administer two psychometric assessments using the test platform
- Deliver feedback sessions based on assessment outcomes
- Complete a reflective practice form
Stage 3: Asynchronous Learning (Modules 15–22)
- Delivery: Online, self-paced
- Format: Videos and quizzes
- Total learning time: 3 hours and 10 minutes
Participants complete Modules 15–22 independently, consolidating learning and building on insights gained from the practical application stage.
Stage 4: Review and Consolidation
- Delivery: Online, self-paced
- Format: Video and guided reflection prompts
- Duration: 1 hour
This final module provides:
- Review of key learning outcomes
- Consolidation of knowledge and practice
- Prompts to reflect on practical application and lessons learned
Certification Requirements
To obtain certification, participants must:
- Complete all asynchronous modules
- Complete the practical assessment administration, feedback delivery, and reflective activity
All stages are mandatory. Certification is awarded only upon full completion of the programme.
